Blooming hell!

According to the runways, designers and magazines, this season is all about the florals- on dresses, skirts, jackets- you name it, they've floraled it! Even the celebs have caught on- just take Lilly Allen who was seen wearing a floral strapless dress AND a pink floral sundress all from Prada's Resort 2008 collection in the same week.

With that in mind, I thought I'd do all the hard work for you and bring you some of the current floral items available
Online and catalogue lovelies Boden have caught the floral bug and produced not one but three silk linen floral pieces. The silk linen floral dress with cap sleeves and pleated detail is tres chic, while the floral coat is a fantastic wardrobe updater- just pair with last seasons jeans and dresses and no one will notice, they'll be too busy admiring your amazing coat, while the skirt is the perfect side of prim and proper and we love it with peep toe heels for that pin up bombshell effect (I'd even go for the cardi and pearls look but I just like to throw all my eggs into one basket!)

For anyone looking for something abit more relaxed but as equally as impressive, try this Adele Laden maxi floral dress from ASOS with a sashed waist and tiered shoulders to create a shapely, romantic figure- its the perfect dress for taller ladies (think Elle MacPherson the queen of maxi dresses and pair with flat sandals for a stunning summer look)

This Topshop blouse is a gorgeous floral sheer tea blouse in black with ruched busting and an empire line waist panel and is the pefect spring time piece- it'll look fantastic wih everything from jeans to a line skirts and is fantastic for anyone wanting to try the trend in a more subtle way

These gorgeous retro delights from the Red Dress Shoppe are fantastic for anyone wanting a more vintage touch to their floral trend. This 50s style house dress is made from floral print cotton poplin has vintage button style loop closure in the bodice and a lighlty gathered pleated yoke skirt and is just mouth watering! The 'Dolly' halter top has fold over trim mini box pleat detailing around the edges and white covered buttons on the bodice and is made from cotton. This is a darling vintage style top and would look delicious with a pencil skirt to complete the vintage ensemble or a pair of skinny jeans to bring it back up to date.
